Homeopathy:
Homeopathy is the art and science of practicing Medicine according to the Law of Similars. The law of Similars
states that the same substance that can provoke symptoms in a healthy person, can also cure them in the sick when
this substance is prepared according to the homeopathic pharmacopea. Physical symptoms as well as mental and emotional symptoms
are considered to treat the whole person with small amounts of natural substances to stimulate the Vital Force,
this way facilitating the healing process. A reaction will be elicited . This is a healing reaction. All healing is self
healing.
Biography:
After graduating from Medical School in 1979 in Brazil, I took a residency program
in Dermatology and practiced as a traditional physician for five years. Being dissatisfied with the reductionism of
Traditional Medicine and having experienced myself the great power of a wholistic treatment with a constitutional homeopathic
remedy, I decided to study Homeopathy. In 1984 I started a 3-year program at the Hahnemannian Institute of Brazil, in Rio
de Janeiro. After that I took 2 other 3-year program courses in Homeopathy and after working as a homeopath for 10 years in
Brazil, I was invited by a homeopath from Dublin, OH, to work as a homeopathic practitioner in his Clinic for over a year
and then went on to work at the Beechwold Clinic in Clintonville, OH, for 10 years. During this time I took courses at the
Canadian Academy of Homeopathy and completed numerous other courses with famous homeopaths throughout the US. In 1999 I was
certified in Classical Homeopathy by The Council for Homeopathic Certification. In 2006 I founded The Homeopathic
Care Center and The School of Homeopathy in the northwest part of Columbus, OH, where I teach courses and seminars and provide
free events to promote Homeopathy. I have been practicing Homeopathy for 25 years.
Consultations:
The
first homeopathic visit usually takes about 2 hours.
Follow
up visits, usually once a month, take about 1 h.
Remedies are dispensed with each visit.
